1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Site. You confirm that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and MapleLearn Canada Inc. (“MapleLearn,” “we,” “us,” “our”). We may provide different pages and features on the Site, and your use is always subject to these Terms as posted at the time you use the Site.
2. Service Description
MapleLearn provides an educational information platform focused on learning pathways in Canada. The Site includes articles, checklists, program explanations, and resource references intended to help users understand general concepts such as program types, typical admissions documents, and common planning steps.
Our services are informational and educational in nature. We do not submit applications on your behalf, we do not guarantee admission outcomes, and we do not provide legal advice, immigration advice, financial advice, or official academic advising. Where we reference third-party institutions or public agencies, those sources remain responsible for their own requirements and policies.
The Site may be updated, changed, paused, or discontinued at any time. We may also add or remove features. We do not promise that specific content will remain available indefinitely.
3. User Obligations and Lawful Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of information from the Site is appropriate for your situation, including confirming requirements with official sources.
- You will not use the Site to violate any applicable law or regulation.
- You will not misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or organization.
- You will not attempt to bypass security controls or access areas of the Site that you are not authorized to access.
- If the Site provides account-related functionality in the future, you agree to maintain one account per person and keep your access credentials secure.
4. Prohibited Activities
To protect users and maintain the integrity of the Site, you must not engage in any prohibited conduct, including:

The Site and all content on the Site, including text, design elements, graphics, logos, icons, and compiled materials (collectively, “Content”), are owned by MapleLearn or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, MapleLearn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and Content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works, or exploit any Content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use MapleLearn branding without our express written permission.
6. Content Accuracy and Educational Nature
We strive to keep our information clear and helpful, but education policies, admissions requirements, and program offerings can change frequently and may vary by province, territory, school board, or institution. The Site may contain general examples and typical steps that do not apply to every situation.
You agree that you are responsible for verifying any requirement with official sources before making decisions. Using the Site does not create a professional advisor-client relationship of any kind.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapleLearn disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that the information on the Site is complete, current, or suitable for your specific needs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MapleLearn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or Content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MapleLearn’s total direct liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms is limited to the lesser of: (a) the amount you paid to MapleLearn in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) 100 EUR.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, MapleLearn’s liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MapleLearn, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may reference or direct you to third-party resources. Third-party websites and services are not controlled by MapleLearn. We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of third parties. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and the third party.
11. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You agree that the courts located in Toronto, Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site.
13. Dispute Resolution (Informal Period)
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us and giving us 30 days to respond. Please provide sufficient detail for us to understand the issue, including the nature of the dispute and any relevant dates or pages.
If the dispute is not resolved within the 30-day informal period, either party may pursue the claim in the courts specified in the Governing Law and Jurisdiction section.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your use poses a security risk or legal exposure. You may stop using the Site at any time.
The following sections will survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Jurisdiction, Dispute Resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
15. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will become effective 14 days after we post the updated Terms on the Site. If you continue to use the Site after the effective date, you agree to the updated Terms.
If a change is material, we may provide additional notice on the Site, such as a homepage banner, during the notice period.
